daikon radish and beef soup 大根とビーフのスープ
It's so cold out side....but great weather for making soup! I bought some cubed beef chuck for stew which was on sale ($2.99/lb!!) Put daikon radish, sliced ginger and beef in a soup pot. Pour enough bonito dashi (or water) to cover all the ingredients and cook for 1.5hour. Add nappa, carrots and mushroom. Some soy sauce and salt to taste and this soup is ready for....

This type of flat udon noodle is called "kishimen". Very popular in Nagoya area. Love, Love , Love this! やっぱ、きしめんだがねー。うみゃーでいかんわー。

inside look...not so much seeds means not so hot. Perfect for today's soup これってあんまり辛くないけど、今日のスープにピッタリコ。。。へへ。
