I teach at the public high school. I have 5 classes and there are about 30 students in each class. It turned out that I had to make "onigiri"(rice balls) for my students. I can only do one class per day. I woke up at 4:30 am and made 50 onigiri....it was a rough morning to say the least, but students loved them! I'm so glad my hard work paid off for the very first time....a priceless moment!
In just 5 minuts, 50 rice balls were all gone....Some of the students tasted onigiri for the very first time. It really was a good cultural exchange day.
Naturally my son's lunch would be "onigiri" lunch, too.
