久しぶりのちゃんとご飯。 cooking strike is over
先月、今月と嵐の様にお料理作りに追われていた。雑誌の“お正月特集”の為に実はもう、お雑煮も年越しそばも作っちゃった(そして食べちゃった)。さすがにうんざりしてしまい、この3、4日、お料理らしい事はしていない。しかし我が家の腹ぺこ坊主がだまっちゃおらぬので、今日はファーマーズマーケットもあることだし、ちゃんとご飯を作りやした。
I've been cooking like a mad woman since last month. It's been quite an overwhelming schedule....and finally it took it's tall. I never thought I'd get sick of cooking, but I finally did. I went on strike and didn't cook for this past couple of days. Yes...we ordered in....quite liberating experience, I have to admit. BUT, this can't go on. So today, I finally came out of the slump and went to the farmer's market. I think I'm ready for come-back. Yes, I'm back, baby!
新鮮な烏賊を買ったので、胴の部分は烏賊そうめん。。。。というか烏賊きしめんだな、こりゃ。名古屋人だで、いいんだがや。
God some fresh squid from the fisherman stand. I made the body part into sashimi.
足の部分はニンニク、醤油、バターでさっと炒めました。定番が美味しい。
Leg part is sauteed with garlic, soy sauce and butter. The usual, but absolutely delicious!
プロッコリーラーブのお浸し。
blanched broccoli rabe with bonito flake and soy dressing
アルゴラと油揚げのお味噌汁。味噌は高山の麹屋さんの合わせ味噌です。以外なコンビネーションですがいけます。アルゴラのちょっと苦い所がいいですね。あとは玄米。
I put arugula and fried tofu in the miso soup. Surprisingly, arugula goes really well with miso. Try it sometime...you'd be pleasantly shocked.
